From the Bleachers: A Real Housewives Game Analysis

Join Sandra and Mandy, the Real Housewives of Bend, OR, as they analyze the strategy and game plays of Bravo's Real Housewives. After starting in Salt Lake City, where no apology play is too small for Sandra's Apology Rubric, and no ride in a Sprinter van is too short for an angry confrontation, the team has moved on to analyze the play in Beverly Hills, and heads out to New Jersey in May of 2024.

Sandra conceived of the show as a natural marriage of her mathematics and personality typing background with her love of Game of Roses' Bachelor franchise coverage. Without her, there would be no game analysis and no RSS.

Mandy, a literal (literally!) stranger to reality TV prior to her friendship with Sandra, brings her legal and theater background to the analysis, and loves to highlight all that is comedy in the land of the Housewives.

Once you get a taste of their coverage style, you'll never watch an episode the same way again!

Sandra and Mandy analyze the plays in RHOSLC Season 4 Episode 12. They thaw out all those “icy apologies” using their new apology rubric, marveling at rookie player Monica Garcia’s turnaround from episode 11. And while they appreciate Whitney Rose's authentic play, they aren’t sure what to make of her final confrontation play with Lisa Barlow at Meredith Mark’s jewelry event. Most of all, they can't wait for next week's Anger in a Van, as promised in next week's scenes.

We kick off the podcast with analyzing play in the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC), but can’t wait to dig into all of Bravo’s Real Housewives locations and seasons, including The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC), The Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY) reboot and legacy, The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), The Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ), The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH), The Real Housewives of Miami (RHOM), The Real Housewives of Potomac (RHOP), The Real Housewives of Dubai (RHODubai). Of course, we’d be remiss if we didn’t comment on the historical significance of those locations that were canceled: The Real Housewives of Dallas (RHOD) and The Real Housewives of Washington D.C. (RHODC).

Inspired by Game of Roses, aka GOR, we analyze all the play that happens during each episode. We love cast trips, taglines, glam squads, reunions and reunion seating, behind the scenes, breaking the fourth wall, producer manipulation, apologies, money, the edit, villains, rumors, drama and more!

During our reality TV recaps, we will analyze the play of all the Bravolebrities in Real Housewives, including Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Jen Shah, Jennie Nguyen, Monica Garcia, Angie Katsanevas, Kimberly Bryant, Jo De La Rosa, Vicki Gunvalson, Jeana Keough, Lauri Peterson, Tammy Knickerbocker, Quinn Fry, Tamra Judge, Lynne Curtin, Gretchen Rossi, Alexis Bellino, Peggy Tanous, Heather Dubrow, Lydia McLaughlin, Lizzie Rovsek, Shannon Storms Beador, Meghan King Edmonds, Kelly Dodd, Peggy Sulahian, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, Jen Armstrong, Noella Bergener, Jennifer Pedranti, Bethenny Frankel, Luann de Lesseps, Alex McCord, Ramona Singer, Jill Zarin, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Sonja Morgan, Cindy Barshop, Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, Dorinda Medley, Jules Wainstein, Tinsley Mortimer, Leah McSweeney,  Eboni K.
